Personal
Born in Norway, my family moved to Alberta when I was eight years old. After two years of service in the Philippines, I returned for undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. While at BYU, I loved playing in several intramural sports leagues including floor hockey, volleyball, and basketball. After meeting my beautiful wife, we decided to come home to Alberta. We enjoy living in Strathmore with our son, Spencer.
Education
After graduating from Cardston High School I attended Brigham Young University, where I graduated in 2007 with a B.Sc. in Economics and a minor in Business Management. After moving back to Canada and deciding to pursue a CA designation, I entered the University of Lethbridge where I obtained a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Accounting. I am currently enrolled in the CA School of Business and plan to graduate in the fall of 2011.
Professional
Although I thoroughly enjoyed my studies in economics, I wanted to learn more about the day-to-day specifics of business. I find that accounting truly is the language of business and that Gregory, Harriman & Associates is a fantastic place to learn this language, as they have a diverse clientele, friendly, qualified, and knowledgeable staff, and a strong support program for CASB students. GH&A has exceeded my expectations in every way.
