Personal

I am a true Calgarian (born and raised)! I am also a crazy loud cheerleading, sports mom enthusiast to three incredible kids. My husband and I moved to Strathmore in 2001 where we began to raise our family. If our kids are involved so are we! I spend much of my time volunteering with their sports, school or other organizations here in town. I am also a devoted wife to an amazing fire fighter and about to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. My husband and I are starting a new chapter in life and learning to tread water as we watch our oldest head off to college. That my friends is a crazy new adventure!

Professional

My background includes over 15 years' experience with bookkeeping and basic accounting in construction, small business and farming industries using Sage Accounting programs as well as experience in preparation of personal tax returns. In 2008 I moved on to expand my accounting career in a more professional capacity and found a permanent home at GH&A as an Accounting Technician where the staff are amazing and a true pleasure to work with.

Personal

I was born and raised on a farm just east of Strathmore. Being the farm girl that I am, I didn’t want to venture into the big city too often, especially to find a job. To be able to work in Strathmore, with clients that I grew up with is a huge perk. I married Spencer Reagan on December 3, 2005 and we live in Standard. We have three boys, James, Lucas and Ryan, and they are keeping us very busy. We enjoy camping a lot in the summer and spending most of our weekends with family and friends in the great outdoors.

Education

After finishing high school in Standard, I was off to U of C for a year to figure out what I wanted to be when I grew up. By the end of the year, accounting was looking really good, so I headed over to Mount Royal College where I received a diploma in Business Administration – Accounting and Financial Management in August, 1998.

Professional

I started at GH&A in September, 2000 and have only been away for a couple of years, when James and then the twins were born. During my time here I have learned so much. I enjoy interacting with our great staff and clients and helping out wherever I can.

Personal

I grew up on the back of a horse in the foothills of Southern Alberta. I moved to Calgary, married a city boy and started our family. We are now out in Strathmore, where life goes at a slower pace – that is, until April rolls around! We spend much of our time outdoors camping, fishing and on the ATV trails.

Education

I am currently enrolled in the University of Athabasca’s University Certificate in Accounting program.

Professional

I have been with Gregory Harriman since 2006 and have enjoyed every minute of it. I work with amazing people who have all taught me a great deal.

Personal

I was born and raised in rural Southern Alberta. I spent several years living in Calgary, going to university and experiencing the faster pace of city life. In 1999, I moved back to the enjoyment of small town living. For 11 years following that time I was fortunate enough to stay at home and raise two amazing daughters. This gave me the opportunity to be involved with school programs and after school sports and activities. I’ve spent time volunteering for various school and sport committees and other community organizations. In my spare time I really enjoy time with my girls, experiencing this beautiful province through hiking, golfing and cycling.

Education

I received my Bachelor of Commerce degree in 1995. Since then I’ve taken several weekend and night courses related to computers, bookkeeping and project management.

Professional

Over the past 10 years I’ve worked part time as a bookkeeper for two corporations as well as volunteered as Treasurer for community organizations.

In 2013, I had the opportunity to enter back into the work force and found a home at GH&A as an Accounting Technician. The staff members have been very welcoming and I appreciate the opportunity to advance my skills and knowledge within a great working environment.

Personal

I was born and raised in a small farming community in East Central Alberta. In 1991, my husband, Fred and I moved our family to Strathmore, where we have continued to enjoy the benefits of small town living and have been able to raise our 2 children, Shawna and Dallas. I was so blessed to have had the opportunity to have been a stay-at-home mom. I was very actively involved as a volunteer parent in their schools and other activities, as well as coaching and managing in their sports. In my down-time, I enjoy spending time with my family, camping, biking, ringette, gardening (not vegetable), and travelling with my husband.

Professional

My entrance back into the work world was in 1998, working for a local service plumbing company. I then moved to the construction industry, where I was for the past 9 years, working as a job/site supervisor for Trendsetter Homes in new home construction.

In January of 2013, I joined the GH&A team as an accounting technician. I have truly enjoyed the change and am grateful for all the new friends I have met.

Personal

I have been lucky enough to live all over the great province of Alberta, from Zama City in the north, to the Crowsnest Pass in the south, and a lot of places in between! The last move was from the Crowsnest Pass up to the Carseland area where my boyfriend and I purchased our first home. In my spare time I love reading, cooking, going for hikes and enjoying the beautiful scenery that is all around our province.

Education

I received a Diploma in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from Grande Prairie Regional College in 2005.

Professional

After graduating from GPRC, I started my career at a CGA firm in Edson, where I worked my way up the ladder over 5 years – reception to bookkeeping to accounting technician. Since then I have worked for a CA firm out of Pincher Creek and Fort Macleod, where I specialized in client assistance, bookkeeping and corporate year ends. I started at GH&A in January, 2015 and I am very happy to have found such a great firm to work for, and great people to work with!

Personal

I was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan. I moved to Strathmore, Alberta in 2000 where I met my husband. I’ve seen the town grow exponentially in size and change throughout the years. We enjoy living in Strathmore as the people are friendly and we have everything we need without having to drive into the city. We feel it is a great community to raise our son. I enjoy spending time with my family, yoga, karate, gardening, camping, and travelling.

Education

I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Regina in 1998. I then went on to complete my Masters in GIS from the University of Calgary in 2002.

Professional

From 2001 to 2013 I was self-employed as a bookkeeper/business owner for my husband’s and my business. I then moved on in 2013 as a part-time administrator/bookkeeper for our local food bank. In 2015, I found full time employment with GH&A as an accounting technician. It is nice to work in an environment where everyone is helpful and friendly. I am looking forward to adding to my accounting skills as my employment progresses.

Personal

I have lived in Strathmore with my three amazing kids since 2001. We are kept busy with school and sports activities for most of the year and enjoy spending our warm weekends at the lake. I am entering my fourth year as Treasurer for Parent Council and hold various volunteer positions related to the sports that my children are involved in. I have done a fair amount of travelling and enjoy meeting people and experiencing new surroundings.

Education

My education has been obtained through night school, seminars and “hands on” experience. I have an Oil & Gas Production Accounting Certificate from S.A.I.T. and have completed four courses towards the Bachelor of Business Administration at Mount Royal College.

Professional

My first twelve years were extremely busy. I worked full time in the financial and oil & gas industry. Weekends I worked in the tourism industry as a ski guide, white water rafting guide and as an outdoor facilitator for U of C programs. During my next twelve years I was self employed providing bookkeeping services and QuickBooks & Simply Accounting training. I feel that the variety of experience has been of great benefit when adapting to clients’ individual requirements.

Joining the GH&A team in 2007 as an Accounting Technician was a fantastic decision. After working in “the trenches” I now have the opportunity to take my knowledge up a level and work on company year ends, income tax and all other assignments sent my way. I continue to learn and am appreciative to do so amongst such an awesome group of people.
